Day 8 – Twelve More and Another Marathon on the List

First up, who said Norfolk was flat? I ran on the flattest bits I could find, but there were certainly gradients involved. I haven’t bothered to venture down to Sheringham yet (and may well not do so as a run) as it’s a really steep downhill to get there and would mean one hell of a climb to get back!

Anyway, twelve miles done. A mile of it was along a national speed limit road with no footpath. Bad. I went down to the farmer’s market at the hall which just happened to be six miles. Then turned round and headed back along the same path-less road into the oncoming traffic. Not such a nice route, but lovely sunshine and a good temperature for a run.

As for the challenge plans, Gloucester has now officially been added to the calendar. I’ve submitted my entry. Just need to sort the logistics and hope there’s no ice in January this year to scupper plans!

Andy.
